100th Anniversary Special Avengers #1

WOW was this awesome. Writer/artist James Stokoe (Godzilla:Half Century War) gets to go full bore crazy here. The premise: Marvel's been around for 100 years, this is an issue of the Avengers from 2063. If you haven't seen his work before, its Otomo scaled madness w/ a hint of Moebius for good measure. You'll meet the current team, learn who's gone and why, get fantastic future Marvel footnotes and products to fill in the gaps. This issue is so good, you'll wish this level of effort was being put into today's books as well.
