100th Anniversary Guardians of the Galaxy #1 gives readers a glimpse at what the Guardians teams could be at Marvel’s 100th Anniversary in 2061. 25 years from now there is a new Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon is reproducing rotten little raccoons, Groot am Groot, and Drax just keeps on a’destroying. There are other entertaining additions I don't wish to spoil.

100th Ann is entertaining but slight in its story, with a conflict new fans can easily hook onto as it centers on the imagination-firing Knowhere, a mining colony within the massive decapitated head of an ancient cosmic being. The playfully adventurous tone is complimented by elastic and appealingly Disney-like art.
