DC wisely shared a preview copy of this book with it's retail partners, and this was indeed a very wise move.

I had very little interest in reading this comic. After seeing the cover by the interior artist, I had even less interest - it did not speak to me. Author, Kelly Thompsons work had never done anything for me before, either good or bad.

This all changed once I gave the book a try. The art, which I figured would be bland based on the cover, hooked me instantly. While Hayden Sherman is no Daniel Warren Johnson, he is still in that class. You can see the effort and time put in to each page by this great creative team.

Simply put, this comic is great, and I'm instantly hooked. I can't wait to see what Kelly Thompson delivers next issue and will delight in the Hayden Sherman artwork.
