The story for 'The Hunted' has been pretty good. We're not here to talk about that. We're here to talk about the art.
There's a temptation to put the art in quotes, "the art", to be insulting towards it in comedic fashion. There's nothing funny about a book that was phoned in. Spider-Man is a liquid in nearly every panel. He is a Ron Frenz black suit moving around on its own, why is Mr. Fantastic here?, non-spacial nightmare. Did we have to have 17 Spider-Man books in May? Was is so important for Marvel to see if Humberto Ramos (not the best Spider-Man artist on his best days) could draw a book in under a week? What is happening here?!?! This book should not have been released.
