Because you demanded it: Scott Lang, the Astonishing Ant-Man, teams up with Sam Wilson, Captain America! Just like you saw in the movie! Except in the movie, they actually got in a fight. And in the movie, Sam was still Falcon, not Captain America. But... close enough, right?!! Please buy our book, movie-watcher people! The return of The Slug! Er, he wasn't in the movie either. Dang it. Rated T+

Reviews

I read the first issue of this series and wasn't overly impressed. I blew off issue #2.
I really only gave this issue a chance because there was a word balloon on the cover, and I'm glad that I did.
The main focus of this issue was the Ant-Man/Captain America relationship that started in the cinematic universe and seems to have migrated into the comics. Sometimes these lateral moves seem forced, but in this case the pairing seems like a totally natural relationship involving two guys who have taken up the mantles of two other guys.
The writing is fun and breezy, the art is clean and crisp. I wouldn't call it astonishing, but it definitely manages to be amusing.
