Underdog stories are great. Sure this particular device is used far too often and unsually to sub-par results. But not in this case. Meet Boulder... or should I say Butterball. He's a kid with invulnarability powers who wants desperately to be useful to the Initiative. He's also overweight, unathletic and, quite frankly not too bright. He frustrates his drill seargeants, annoys his fellow recruits and insults his commanding officers. But you still end up pulling for him to succeed. And that's really the point of any underdog story, right?
