I'm going to spoil the entire issue here, so don't read this. I will make the argument that it was spoiled for you before it left the printers. This issue, in a nutshell: Bruce Wayne makes Alfred bring a magic machine that was partially programmed by the Joker up from the depths of the Bat Cave to re-install Batman into his brain by killing-actually killing-him and then resuscitating him after death which will replace and remove his memories from the period after Endgame, leaving Batman without Bruce Wayne when successful.
