This issue was so much fun! Reading Cap's origin for the hundredth time, I wasn't expecting such a ride. For the first time ever, Cap's origin is told from his point of view. Rather than the Avengers digging him out of ice, we emerge from the ice and see what cap sees, we feel the confusion this hero felt. And the legendary Mark Waid wouldn't rewrite Cap's origin and not add some twist, right? Cap made it through the war without being injured, how long can he make it in our world?
