Empress #7

A rousing, ROUSING I SAY! conclusion to what we're being told is book one of Empress. Mark Millar/Stuart Immonen's space saga reminds us that there are some universal truths:


1.Stuart Immonen is one of, if not the best, comic storytellers working today.

2.Women have secrets. If they're willing to tell you those secrets, you should listen.

3.Men, whether royalty, politicians, or duck farmers, are IDIOTS when it comes to what they want to know or not know about people they're dating.

4.Some men are just full on idiots w/out any other caveats.

5.The dwarf in any story is the one most capable of raining hell down on their enemies. This includes in space. (Think about it...Jawas and Ugnaughts were clearly running the whole show in Star Wars).


Thrilling stuff, my book of the week, and I can't wait for more.
