Eugenic #2

More nightmare fuel from James Tynion IV and Erik Donovan. Eugenic is a 400 year long story told at the 200 year breaks. The first issue was ground zero, with a gene specialist having saved the world from being unable to have children. As a part of that salvation, he built in monstrous traits that would remove 'beauty' and other vain aspects of humanity from all future generations. It was totally horrific, and I loved it.

Jump ahead 200 years to the perfect society of issue #2. 16% of the population was immune to the changes built into our genetic codes, leaving them as regular humans in a world of gigantic super beings, presented as the ideal that humans should aspire to. Humans who can't be used for breeding pets for the pure one are kept under lock and key for sterilization. What will happen to that 16% if they all find out what they've been lead to believe is a lie?


Why, MORE horrific content of course, morally fluid, and stomach turning at its core. If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this. If you loved the first one, get ready to be queasier...but in a good way. See you in 200 years for issue #3.
