THE MASTERS OF DOOM Part one of four. It begins here! The final storyline of the Millar/Hitch run on FANTASTIC FOUR, culminating all of the plot threads they’ve set up so far! From across the universe they come, returning to the Earth after a twenty year journey of genocide and sadism. They’re the men who tutored Doctor Doom in the ways of villainy—and their re-emergence signals the greatest conflict the Fantastic Four have ever been party to! 32 PGS.

BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

Mark Millar, Bryan Hitch, well mostly Bryan Hitch. One of the 3 inkers (Is it Hitch) are just awful and it stands out like a sore thumb whenever they work over Hitch's pencils. Sometimes it's the penciller themselves, just not comfortable with the tools. Either way, I wish it would stop.
We meet Doctor Doom's MASTER this issue, the man? who trained him and while intriguing, I still find it very out of character to see Doom bow to anyone, and openly admit to his 'people' that there's someone above Doom's status. An above average issue, on a title that's far too overlooked.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
