MY FIRST COMIC bonus review from Eric Schwartz

Reviews

Unlike most of the Graham Crackers Comics family, I got a late start to comics and comic book reading. In fact, I probably would never have started reading comics if not for my sister. It was a dark and stormy night, I was alone in my room looking longingly out the window sighing gently, ever so gently when my sister arrived at my doorstop. She had a look about her that told me to shut up, so I did. I did shut up, and listened and learned. She told me in a monotone voice, "there comes a time in a young man's life when he has to inherit the belongings of another. This your time, it is your time." Then with grace of an antelope and the might of a gorilla she gave me a box filled to the brim with comics. They beckoned, glowed even. One in particular took a hold of me in a way like a mosquito is attracted a light zapper. I looked down at it, in bold words that would make even the most sure footed man quake, Green Arrow #66 shown like the bat signal for all to see. My sister left without a spoken a word being said, but something passed between us, a deeper understanding that only comes about when one gives away her husbands excess comics in order to create room. After that first comic I was hooked, not unlike a fish to a piece of hotdog. Since that day, like clockwork I have been ready, even eager one might say, to read and digest the next storyline that comes about on a monthly basis.
