For fans of horror movies comes a comic about a hunter of serial killers, Cassie Hack. The series has been around for a while, but for a quick catchup, this comic is for you. This issue gives the origin to the main character, and some sense on why she does what she does, all, of course, while taking the slings and arrows of fate. The story works, but it's bland, as it strives for a shock value that isn’t really shocking. And the places it shows Cassie’s complex character..ah, that's where I feel the hurt, feel the story coming alive. But that part is grudgingly told, like that's not what the reader, or Cassie, should really want. It’s a good concept, I like it, but it's an acquired taste. Like mystery meat in a cafeteria.
