BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH

A chilled-out issue of Invincible is a funny thing. Since it's usually nothing more than talking-heads and setup (*cough*NewAvengers*cough*), it should be awful. And yet, Robert Kirkman makes it fun. It's probably down to his secret, classic-Marvel-derived power - you listening, Bendis? - CHARACTERISATION! The weird "writer" ability to make each character *GASP!* sound like a different person, allowing you to care about what they have to say to one another. It's what seperates this fun, talky book from, say... oh, you know which one. 8 Grahams
