BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

'They got Mixed up!' - Robert Kirkman, best know as the creator/writer of the Walking Dead also writes Invincible every month - a Super-Hero sometimes science-fiction themed comic book. With a likeable lead character not to different from Peter Parker, Invincible is a great monthly read - and still worthwhile to catch up with, even if we are on issue #76. Most people that won't touch Walking Dead because they think it's a gore book (it's not) - while others won't touch Invincible because they think it's yet another, yawn, super-hero comic and they read plenty of those (it's not). If you're looking for over the top violence skip right on past most issues of Walking Dead and say hello to Invincible. I'm shocked on a regular basis how brutal these fight scenes are in this comic, but am reminded that yes, this is the Viltrumite WAR. With WAR being the key word. People are not simply knocked down unconscious like in your standard super-hero battle - people are brutally murdered on the battle field, and while unsettling at times it adds an air of realism and stresses the importance of the battles. As always, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
