VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by Matt Wayne Art by Carlo Barberi & Bob Petrecca Cover by Zach Howard

Say goodbye to the League as John Stewart and the Green Lantern Corps. take on a universe-threatening mission. Who is the force behind it all? And who is the traitor within the ranks?

BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

Dilemma. This is the last issue for JLU, a series I’ve collected from the beginning, and have always enjoyed. But this issue confused me. On page 4, last two panels, who’s talking? And the conversations within the Green Lanterns expect us to know them back and forth. And Green Lanterns, virtually cover to cover? My guess is that this last issue wasn’t planned. The seven original JLAers, from the cartoon, are on the cover, but only two are inside. So, rate the series overall, which was fun, entertaining, consistent, or this issue, which was confusing, and … green. Did I mention I have all of the DVD’s? Sigh.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
