I love it when a group of writers and artists come together for a little fun. And when the people in your hometown are named Kirby and Royer, you know this is going to be a blast! DC has done this once before with a 12 issue mini-series simply called Challenge and it was amazing. Especially how the artists and writers would continue to mess with each other as each cliffhanger got more and more diabolical! Issue one serves as an introduction with a revised back story for everybody's favorite Last Boy on Earth. The additional origin items work well and stay within the original title's story flow. Issue 1 also features a creative team including names like Didio, Griffin, Koblish, and Hi-Fi. This series is starting off with a bang and I look forward to the mayhem!
