After reading last issue I was hoping for more 90’s nostalgia. Instead I was trapped into reading a six page Captain America story that totally makes me cry out to the heavens for a Tim Sale and Jeph Loeb Captain America White mini-series. Andy Kuhn continues to grow into one of my more favorite artists. He clean sharp style and fantastic storytelling easily leads my eye through every page. I hope he continues to get work on books I like to read. Robert Kirkman does another solid job crafting the tale of Ringmaster’s lost ring. Sure it’s Frodo and Sam meets Rachel and Ross in a diner with a giant toilet and chicken suits and man purses and syrup but it’s damn entertaining. Man I really want a Tim Sale Cap book now.

 BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH

Every so often, I'd wonder why this book doesn't sell better. I mean, it's written by Robert Kirkman! Robert Kirkman! Every comic fan on the interweb LOVES Robert Kirkman! Walking Dead trades sell like they were stuffed with rainbows and wishes! Marvel Zombies is a bonafide SMASH HIT! So why the hell doesn't anyone read Marvel Team-Up? Well, this month that question gets answered: It's an okay book. No more, no less. Competent and well-crafted, but ultimately forgettable. It's an alright time-waster, but... eh. 6 Grahams for trying.
