I AM MOON KNIGHT! The mysterious Mr. Knight has opened his Midnight Mission, his people petitioning for protection from the weird and horrible. The Moon Knight stalks the rooftops and alleys marked with his crescent moon tag, bringing violence to any who would harm his people. Marc Spector, in whichever guise he dons, is back on the streets, a renegade priest of an unworthy god. But while Khonshu languishes in a prison that Moon Knight put him in, Moon Knight must still observe his duty: protecting those who travel at night. Let it be known - Moon Knight will keep the faith. Moon Knight is the rotten teenager of the Marvel Universe, seemingly only able to be good for short periods of time. This latest series has some really fun story stuff. So far, so good. And it has art. It's a fine enough manga style, but it's just another example of Marvel snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Marvel, you have Rod Reis. That's like having Bill Sienkiewicz. But cheaper. You've got his phone number and stuff. Seriously, would've been a ten if it didn't look like it does.
Anyway, highly recommended if you want to see what Poe Dameron is going to be doing for the ten years, those who know that Moon Knight fans are very similar to Cubs fans in the sense of enduring disappointment, those who fondly remember Kolchak the Nightstalker.
