Ok. It's official. I can't take another issue of this reboot. Creating to sidestep the comic code law about the undead, Morbius the LIVING (get it, he's a living vampire therefore not undead!) Vampire was one of the quirky spin-off characters of Spider-Man to carve out a notch for himself during the wonderful 1970's. And although his original outfit was not exactly beneficial, at least it wasn't a d%mn hoodie! Although, the story line itself nor the art isn't bad the whole concept is hopelessly flawed. And the book seems to be suffering from Hawkeye syndrome. The grey covers with the spash of red (instead of purple), etc. It also seems to have forgotten it's base roots. Morbius should be out trying to find a cure for his self-created curse. Not breaking up gangland violence in the urban squaller! Nor should he be having philisophical debates about one evil taking over the void after a different evil is destroyed or defeated. The poor scientist with the european accent (thanks to the 1990's Spider-Man cartoons) should be trying to find his cure only to fail time and time again. Somebody get Marvel execs (or at least writer Joe Keatinge) some of Marvel's old black & white Vampire Tales magazines and lets get this back on track.
