"A terrific issue, firmly focused on a epic brawl between the All-New X-Force and Deathstrike and her Purifiers. Some quieter scenes, including a great one back at the mansion, allow for some necessary moments to breathe, but the continuing ‘Layla and Madrox in the future’ subplot is still too murky and vague, leading to a drag in the issue. Besides that one misstep, a top-notch chapter in the rapidly accelerating Messiah CompleX story."
