BONUS REVIEW by Brandon Mattingly
I read this beacuse it had the BATMAN REBORN logo on it. I figured that this would be some campy marketing tool to rake in suckers, like me, who only pick it up for the BR logo. Well, guess what... it was. This issue had next to nothing to do with Batman short of a stolen Bat-plane and a really cool Bat-villain. It was still decent though. The story seemed to drag in the middle, but the last few pages were DYNOMITE! If you like Red Lanterns or just plain wanna see Ra's Al Ghul in a dumb looking fur coat, then this is the book for you! (I guess if you're a fan of 2nd rate heroes, this is also for you.) The artwork was fine; there was one panel where Deathstroke slashed the side of a building with his sword and I really liked that shot. The story was so-so. If you're a regular reader, a hardcore DC fan, or just looking to try something new I would recommend picking it up
