Tim’s back in Gotham and feeling good, that won’t last long. With
the reveal from the last issue’s ending, we know something big is on
the horizon – you can’t screw over Ra’s and not have ramifications,
though we don’t see them yet in this issue. There is a great Tim
Conner moment that we’ve needed since the return of Superboy. The last
few pages seemed to be building to something, and for a moment you think
maybe Ra’s has already began Tim’s punishment, but then it fizzled
for me at the so-called reveal. Forgot Tim’s been away so, yes, he
needs to be caught up on a few changes, but as an avid DC reader the end
was just anti-climactic because we’ve known this surprise for months.
Also, this will be “continued in Batgirl #8”, so hopefully that means
when I open up Red Robin #10 we will be back on track to Ra’s revenge.
