THE UNNAMED’s immortal hero, Simon Pure, has made a lot more enemies than friends through the centuries. Reviews

Redcoat is a book I cannot recommend highly enough. When every writer and their dog seem to think that making quips is the same thing as being clever, this is a breath of fresh air because it manages to be fun while maintaining a sense of urgency. It’s ridiculous, don’t get me wrong; there’s no way for a story about a hapless British conscript making his way through American history to be anything but ridiculous. However, because the characters take it seriously, so do you. Even when funny things happen, and they happen frequently in this absurd little series, it doesn’t undermine the stakes. Check it out if you’re a fan of the concept of 'fun.'
