I've enjoyed Matthew Rosenberg's work for a while now (especially Kingpin), but feel this book is firing on more cylinders than previous ones. There's a pleasant, workable, non linear structure that's very friendly as non traditional storytelling, with an appropriate use of color to separate the two. There's also the jim-dandy artwork by Javier Garron, with clean lines and a bit of a manga feel. Something about it makes me want to say 'James Stokoe with a .0002 Rapidiograph', but there's more going on than just aping a detail man. Clean, clear, with backgrounds and consistency... it's nice.


The opening set up seems to contradict what Hydra is selling (the Allies lost WWII and brainwashed Cap w/ the Cosmic Cube), and I'm wondering if that's a throwaway or leading to resolving some alternative facts the multi-headed ones have been spewing.
