If you love comics, you have to have an awareness that there are good comics and bad comics. Sometimes you can love a bad comic. Sometimes you can hate a good comic.

Sometimes you're just jealous that someone got the opportunity to do something you hope they love to, writing and drawing a comic. You, the comic lover, has to realize that writers and artists are often directed by their publisher for what the content of their comic will be.

Sentinels is one of those comics. Marvel wanted a post-krakoan 'bad guy' book. Features bad guys. Features bad guys being captured by bad guys. Features bad corporate guys. Features bad govermental guys. Lots of bad guys.

The thing about an editorial edict is that the creatives involved don't have a vision, they have a vision assigned to them.

Maybe read any of the other post- Krakoan books instead.

Or try out X-Factor, which DEFINITLEY has a point of view, if you want something like this, but better.
