BONUS REVIEW by PASTOR SAM

It’s a mystery as to why the best cover art and best writing of the Shadowland series would come in its epilogue. Yet, here we are. The characterizations are spot on. Foggy is still the best friend Matt could have, Elektra the worst and the capes are still writing him off because it’s no longer conducive to advancing the story lines in their new respective titles to care. Ironically, one of the best characters to come out of the Shadowland story line has center stage here. Detective Kurtz is the new the Commissioner Gordon to Daredevil’s Batman. There is a lot of potential for some really great stories to come out of Kurtz’s future manhunt to bring in the Kitchen’s past protector. Though at this point my optimism for the return of Daredevil to Hell’s Kitchen is much more cautious, Foggy is there to remind us all it’s not a matter of if he comes back, but “when he comes back”. Foggy, that won’t come soon enough.
