VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Klaus Janson and Merrill Hagan, art by Janson and Adam Dekraker, cover by Jay Anacleto.
Two Spidey stories. One great comic! Comics legend, Klaus Janson tells a personal story delving into the effects on a child who is raised by one of Spider-Man's foes. In the second story, Merrill Hagan (Adult Swim) tells a story featuring the Lizard and his wife. How does a woman cope with being married to a man who must remain calm at all times or he'll turn into a giant green beast? Can she possible still love him if she must never do or say anything that could set him off?

BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH

2 stories in this month's installment of Spidey's bi-monthly anthology: one from Klaus Janson, not very good. 5 Grahams. The second's a surprising and melancholy story from the perspective of the wife of the Lizard. 7 Grahams. All in all, pretty much the definition of a Marvel anthology: short stories that are either examples of how you can tell great Marvel stories without getting locked into the conventions of a monthly episodic format, or boring filler from Klaus Janson. Averaged score: 6 Grahams
