Reviews

Darth Vader has been sent away, tasked with discovering the members of Crimson Dawn. He's taken Ochi of Bestoon with him. Ochi is an assassin, so he can take care of himself. Ochi is also a member of Crimson Dawn. That's right, new best buddy to the Empire is working against the Empire from within the Empire. He'll probably need to keep that there information a secret, right? If Vader were to find out, Ochi would be full of the sads.

Today is a bad day for Ochi of Bestoon. He'll need a personal massager to work out the kinks after taking beatings from literally everyone he comes across. From one mishap to another, he's captured by Crimson Dawn, who know that he's Crimson Dawn, while they're framing other members of Crimson Dawn as being Crimson Dawn, and there's just about nobody who doesn't know that apparently everyone is in Crimson Dawn. With all those factions looking to tear into him like hungry cougars, will he even survive to the last page?

Also, Vader is playing Crypt Keeper with the memory of his ex, going after a Padme lookalike that is in... you guessed it... Crimson Dawn. She's become a bit of an old witch, wanting revenge for the death of her Queen. She's in a dangerous game, and she knows when the time is right, it will be Vader who'll play with her.

Greg Pak's run on Vader has been the most convoluted of Marvel's three series. Don't they know that a giant event in between movies can become a pair of very rough pants? Shadows Of The Empire, I'm looking in YOUR direction. It is nice looking though, particularly the coloring on the last three pages. If overly complicated quadruple crossing is your bag, or you're a dusk portrayed beautifully sort of person, order one today.
