Evil twins abound in alternative universes! In a mirror universe, Commander Kirk schemes to replace Captain Pike by nefarious means, with cohort Scotty along for the ride. But Captain Pike has his own ideas for eliminating the Commander first. This takes one thrilling episode of the original Star Trek episode (called “Mirror, Mirror”), and gives it a bigger buildup. It’s tense, and the concluding issue next month should be great. Even non-Star Trek fans should enjoy it.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
