If you are reading the DC Comics titles, Batman Superman World's Finest and World's Finest Teen Titans then you know. Mark Waid is writing some for most enjoyable comics today.
This DC Comics Black Label book adds suspenseful to that list. Superman The Last Days of Lex Luthor story takes place in a Superman Universe where Lex Luthor is dying and requesting Superman's help. Is this a trick or a trap? Could it be something else?
This larger format square magazine-size epic starts there and goes back and forth story wise to resolve this dilemma. Journey into worlds familiar and bizarre that test both men. Don't cheat and jump to the end to find out. You won't be able to- this is only the first chapter.
This bigger magazine-size comic book is one of the better Black Label books to utilize the square format in a grand scale. The story moves quickly and the artwork of Brian Hitch and Kevin Nowlan complement each other. Hitch's heavily researched penciled artwork stretched to its limits with Nowlan's ink lines tell the story here of friendship and rivalry. Looking forward to see where this one goes.
