BONUS REVIEW by PASTOR SAM

After a couple of weeks of so-so Shadowland tie-ins, I quote the great Flying Circus when I say, “And now for something completely different”. As an owner of every Superman/Batman issue since its creation, it’s not too bold to say issue #75 far exceeded expectation. Oddly enough, it wasn’t the issue itself, nay; rather it was the short stories in the back that garner this issue so much praise. The art is as varied as the contributing artists and good quality, but it is the message in each story that is worth proclaiming from the mountain tops. In an age of excessive anti-hero deconstruction, it was powerful to read about the importance of good overcoming evil and why it matters to be a hero in the first place. Do yourself a favor this week and press pause on the gloom and doom and instead pick up a little hope from “The World’s Finest”.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
