BONUS REVIEW by PASTOR SAM

It is infinitely difficult to express the emotional power communicated within the 22 pages of this book. Watching Superman process the assumed death of Batman while projecting all the pain he’s still carrying from losing his father is truly moving. Having lost my own father last June, this particularly resonated with me. This book actually made the end of Final Crisis matter for what could be the very first time. The story validates Dick Grayson as Batman and at the same time makes Superman face his own mortality in some thought provoking ways. I’m not normally one to give too much away in reviews, but even were I to tell you the story panel by panel, you would still be missing out if you didn’t pick up this book. Be warned though, if you’ve ever lost someone you loved, you might want to have some Kleenex handy.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
