The best Bendis!(tm) stories are the simple ones. He has a knack for handling people doing things for the right reasons. He also has a knack for writing pages that require 70 panels. Both of those qualities are on display here, in a simple tale of people- heroes- doing the best they can to do the right thing with the information they have, right down to when the last one of them....well, you'll have to read it. Bagley's art looks great w/ Scott Hanna inks, and the Peter/Miles dialogue is going to get you in the feels. I can't wait to see what's next.
