Whether for better or for worse I think Robert Kirkman is shaking things up for the sake of shaking things up. Now, I’ll be the first admit that TWD started stagnating around the late 30s early 40s of its run. But now, since issue 50 it seems to be on a kick of one “shocking” revelation after another. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But that’s not what TWD’s supposed to be about, really. Anyway, it’s still a great issue as we find out that there were more than just two survivors of the prison, and we meet some new faces as well. It’s still one of if not the best independent titles out there.
