Weapon plus World War IV is not as action packed as the cover promises it to be, that being said it does deliver an interesting take on a classic character with an awesome back story staring Brute Force. I did enjoy reading about a man-thing operative working to cure himself of a curse only realizing that being a monster may be the lesser of two evils. The art is lacking and felt like it needed some polish to it but otherwise a good story. Now for the back-up story with Brute Force, that somehow turned out to be more entertaining than its predecessor story, they even reference the original comic in the story. The art holds up better in this story and brings back an odd group of characters in an interesting way. Would recommend this book for anyone looking for something different and has time...to kill!
