Bendis nears the end of his excellent run on 'Action' with the introduction of another new big bad. That's 2 Superman Extinction level characters introduced in 3 weeks if you're keeping track. It seems he wasn't intending on going anywhere, but the powers that be have their own thoughts about his intentions.

Continuing the Metropolis ground level story, the new owner of the Daily Planet, outed as a criminal by her own staff, starts moving pieces around to take Superman's human allies off the chess board, and his super powered ones out of the skies. She's at least a little bit successful on both fronts. We may be down a member of the Super Family after this issue.

This remains JRJR's NOT best work.
