Reviews

This is a bad comic. First off, its ugly. Rushed JR JR is the worst of all the JR JRs. The writing by Gene Yang is worse. There was a 'been there, done that' element to Geoff Johns run w/ Romita Jr., but I'd much rather be there again to do that again than be here now. While the broad strokes are fine, are we really supposed to believe that Superman (even in the new 52) needs prompting to understand that blackmail is bad? My Superman can't be that dumb. And the story where Superman's identity is revealed to the world is against the menace of HORDR_ROOT, a concept that feels lifted from 'Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2'??!?! Are we really to believe that the reason we don't have proper future forward scientific think-tanks is because ALL scientific think-tanks are both secret AND evil? So so bad that I'm looking forward to the next DC reboot.
