Written by Robert Kirkman, penciled by Andy Kuhn, cover by Phil Hester.
"Freedom Ring," part 2 of 5. Mild mannered Curtis Doyle has come to possess a reality-altering ring crafted from a fragment of the cosmic cube. He's taken it upon himself to become the newest hero in the Marvel Universe -- Freedom Ring. Now he finds himself face to face with Spider-Man, or at least, someone who claims to be Spider-Man.
BONUS REVIEW by RICK BERG
Somebody help me I like this book too much. Andy Kuhn delivers yet
another great issue of super hero(trademark Marvel/DC) goodness. Curtis
lets us know about his "rules" for his new ring. We then get to see his
plan for the "free dumb ring." Funtastic! Plus we get a neat Spider-Man
team-up, the Abombination and a few other guest movie stars. Wow three
months in a row that I like a Robert Kirkman book, I guess anything can
happen now. Say maybe All Star Late & Later becoming weekly or maybe a
certain thunder god will return. Just read the book.
