REVIEW by Brian Fisher

The second part of the “New Krypton” story is about what you’d expect: a lot of explanation and exposition without a whole lot of story to speak of. But this is only the second part of a long story and we are living in the age of decompression, so I’ll cut it a bit of a break. The New Kryptonians, led by Zor-El are on their way to meet with the president (who looks uncannily like some jerk I know…) and introduce themselves. But, while the meeting goes well the conclusion isn’t quite what anyone was expecting when a big baddie arrives with a greeting for the Kryptonians, as well. While the story holds up well enough, despite a lack of forward progression the artwork, by Renato Guedes is weak compared to his usual standards. He was much better just last week in the “New Krypton Special.” Still, this looks to be one of the better crossover events coming in the near future and I’m looking very much forward to reading the rest of it.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
