BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

I'm really not a big fan of The Justice Society…wasn’t this the same group that the JLA used to see once a year, as a lark? (O.K., I’m an old fart). But this tie-in to one of the best stories that DC has produced, Kingdom Come, grabbed my attention. At first the intro of the alternate Superman was slow, but now, after a slugfest with Magog, and the moral dilemma on how to deal with Gog, the story is in full steam. And it’s great! So here’s a guy (Gog) who can solve the world’s problem, but doesn’t want anything? What? And the JSA, what do they do? Well, bicker, of course, and prophesize (remember Kingdom Come?), and get distracted by other stuff, which happens. But what will they do? That’s why I keep buying.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
