VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by Geoff Johns & Alex Ross Pencil art and variant cover by Dale Eaglesham Cover by Alex Ross

It's the Justice Society of America vs. the Justice Society Infinity of Earth-2 with the fate of Power Girl at the center of it all! Meanwhile, Starman struggles with his returned sanity as he embarks on his true mission in our time period – one that will have vital consequences for the Crisis of the 31st century!

BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

Usually issues where you have a team from one universe battling its parallel from another, it’s easy to keep the members apart. Not in this one. The Justice Society Infinity, from Earth 2, drop by to fight the JSA, all in an attempt of finding their lost comrades. And that’s fine, except the two Power Girls have minor differences in appearance, and I’m not up on all of the members of the JSA, so mix them together and presto, I need a score-card. The plot itself was something I’ve seen many times before. A question: in the new multiverse, will everyone cross universes like everyone crosses the street? We’ll see, I guess. There was a bright spot: a reveal from Starman, where he summarizes the whole original crisis/new crisis stuff, and why it looks like it will be a looong time before there will be another one. A great explanation. And the other bright spot was knowing that next month, the Magog story returns. For that, I can’t wait.

I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
